Abstract

ABSTRACT
The occurence of fracture due to osteoporosis, especially on the elderly is still high, both in
Asia and Europe. Its consequences are numerous, such as, long term care, hug medical fee,
and complications from bleeding until the onset of death. The various factors influencing the
occurrence of fracture are divided into modified and unmodified factors. This paper aims to
examine various factors that influence the occurence of fracture on the elderly and the
management to minimize the various risk factors.
