Abstract


ABSTRACT
This paper aims to cover how the phenomenon that occurs in Organizational
Transformation of Semarang Growth Center. This paper reveals organizational
change takes place with reference to previous theories, among others, Andrew H.
Van de Ven in his writing "Exploring Development and Change" argues there are
four basic theories that explain the process of change within an organization,
namely, Life Cycle, Teleological, Dialectica, Evolutionary, and thus also Gouillert
& Kelly (1995) describes the theory of transformation of R 4 is: reframe is the
transformation associated with vision and mission; Restructure the transformation
of the organizational structure,; Revitalize the transformation in human resource
development and related construction Renew organization. The Results of
organizational transformation is the change in status of Semarang Growth Center
became Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) under control of the Directorate
General of Higher Education Ministry of National Educationto change its name to
BALAI PENGEMBANGAN dan LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN TINGGI (BPLPT)
