PERANAN KEPIMPINAN SEKOLAH DALAM PEMINDAHAN LATIHAN BESTARI
Abstract
Training would be more meaningful to a trainee and its organization if it is successfully transferred during the process of training. Training transfer could enable those trained to employ the knowledge and skills that they received from the training, hence, applying it continuously in their daily duties at workplace. This article identifies the factors that contribute and hinder the training transfer to accomplish. Specifically, this article focuses on the training transfer issues among teachers that attended the Bestari training by looking at the role of school administration. In other words, this article concerns on how far the school leadership able to ensure that the Bestari training received by the teachers could be fully and continuously interpreted in learning and teaching at school. The result shows that the culture of the organization and working environment should be the main agenda for an organization to ensure the training transfer went positively. Continuous leadership support also played an important role towards transfer of training process.
